Maximize Monday: Optimize Your Podcast for the Holidays

Shout outs on show

The easiest way for your fans to access your show is through the show notes. Toss in your affiliate link to make sure it’s easy for your fans to go from interested to purchasing! Show notes are also a great way to improve your SEO (search engine optimization) and including your TeePublic backlinks contributes to this as well.

Mail lists

Mail lists are a great way to keep up communication with your fans. Use these to blast out sale announcements or new updates you’ve made to your merch store. Here you can include visuals to products as well as direct links, making it very easy for your listeners to purchase ASAP.

Social media posts

You never know who is checking you out on Facebook or Twitter. Posting about your merch store promotions on your social media helps spread the word as far as you can (and increase your sales while you’re at it!). You can also employ other cool social media tricks like live videos, daily feature posts, and more!
